We are grateful for the strong support of our many volunteers that ensure the success of each event. The CJRA is guided by a board of dedicated individuals who also serve as volunteers and can be seen around our events.

Chelsea Kreil

2024 Director

Born into no form of western or rodeo family, Chelsea was just five or six years old when she knew she was a girl who needed a pony and her passion for horses grew onward from there.

Not ever having the chance to own a pony or horse but once moving to Breton in 1999 she got a donkey or two.

Meeting her future husband in 2005 was a blessing for her passion for horses as they soon had plenty. Starting a family and getting married not too long after that she quickly became a horse loving mom who shared that passion with her kids and they all became horse kids. This led her family down a path of rodeo.

Chelsea has been a rodeo mom now for 13 years. Roughstock being a huge part for the past 9 years. She has participated and attended many different events. From jackpots, to gymkhanas to saddle series and even World Series.

Participating in 4H, attending many learning clinics, auditing training clinics and much more.

In her spare time she is an active hair stylist and student herself all while keeping her 5 kids busy with all their extra curricular activities, helping coach teams or transport kids to and from their games. Staying busy in her off time on their farm outside of Breton that boasts horses, a few cattle, pigs, rabbits and chickens. Being busy is the only thing that makes sense to her.
