CJRA

Junior Roughstock Competitors must be between the age of 6 and 18 years old. Age, for the purposes of division qualifications, is determined by the competitor’s age as of January 1 of the competition year.

Always wake up with a smile knowing that today you are going to have fun accomplishing what others are afraid to try!

We understand that building your business makes your schedule crazy. For that reason, we don’t want to add to the chaos, so our consultants maintain a flexible schedule to meet your needs on your timeframe.

Bareback, Saddle Bronc or Both!

Competitors may choose to ride in bareback, saddle bronc, or in both as an all around competitor. The size of the roughstock will be determined by the rider’s division. You can get more information on divisions here.

Once checked in, each competitor is assigned a chute, this is known as the “chute draw”. The stock each competitor will ride is determined randomly by which horse ends up in the chute they have drawn. This method of draw is preferred to ensure the events can run smoothly with the competitors able to get prepared and their gear in place in advance.

Learn more about the Chute Draw System and other rules here.
