Where it Began

Stock Contractor Rafter 6P, supported by the Junior Roughstock Association, set out to pave a “Road to Vegas” for any junior competitors who wanted to learn, or enhance their skills to the highest level, on true mini bucking horses.

The Chute-Out Series kicked things off in the spring at Thorsby’s Haymaker Arena, with 6 rodeos.

In that high-point series, competitors amassed points through two rounds at each event, earned bonus points based on their placing, and were awarded high point champion.

That August, two World Finals Direct Qualifier events were held in Stony Plain, where each division champion was awarded the right to represent Canada on the international stage in Las Vegas – the YETI Junior World Finals Rodeo.

From the first event in Thorsby to the last in Stony Plain, Stock Contractor Rafter 6P stood out as the 2021 title sponsor investing thousands in the next generation of professional rodeo competitors.
